Medic First Aid BasicPlus is a combined adult first aid, CPR and AED training program. This hands-on program is designed for the occupational first aid provider or individuals with the desire to gain first aid, CPR and AED knowledge and skills. Additionally, this program helps employers meet OSHA, MSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees on how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.
Medic First Aid CarePlus is an adult CPR and AED program designed for persons who are occupationally required or desire to have CPR and AED knowledge and skills. This hands-on certification program is ideal for adult residential care personnel, personal trainers and emergency response teams in business and industry including community responders, workplace responders, firefighters and police officers.
The course will authorize students to be Medic First Aid instructors. After completion, participants are able to provide training in Medic First Aid/CPR, understand applications and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), manage disease prevention from blood borne pathogens, and administer infant/child rescue skills and AED applications. Students learn lifesaving skills and practice CPR and first aid procedures during the course.
