Courses
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Adult)
A hands-on, one-day certification course open to anyone — students, staff, and the general public. Whether your job requires it or you want to know what to do in an emergency, you'll leave with a nationally recognized certification that is good for two years. This course covers adult First Aid, CPR, and AED only; child and infant certification is not included. The certification meets OSHA, MSHA, and other federal and state requirements for workplace emergency response training.
CPR and AED Certification (Adult)
Medic First Aid CarePlus is an adult CPR and AED program designed for persons who are occupationally required or desire to have CPR and AED knowledge and skills. This hands-on certification program is ideal for adult residential care personnel, personal trainers and emergency response teams in business and industry including community responders, workplace responders, firefighters and police officers.
Medic First Aid Instructor Development Course
The HSI Instructor Development Course prepares participants to become authorized instructors for the HSI MEDIC First Aid training program. Participants will learn how to teach First Aid, CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) use, and bloodborne pathogen prevention using HSI’s curriculum and instructional methods. Throughout the course, participants will practice lifesaving skills and procedures while developing the instructional skills needed to effectively teach others. Upon successful completion, participants will demonstrate competency in both the course content and the instructional skills required to teach HSI MEDIC First Aid, CPR, and AED courses.
