A hands-on, one-day certification course open to anyone — students, staff, and the general public. Whether your job requires it or you want to know what to do in an emergency, you'll leave with a nationally recognized certification that is good for two years. This course covers adult First Aid, CPR, and AED only; child and infant certification is not included. The certification meets OSHA, MSHA, and other federal and state requirements for workplace emergency response training.
Who Should Attend
Occupational first aid providers or individuals who require or desire CPR, AED and first aid knowledge and skills with a focus on adults.
Course Outline
Learn by seeing and doing. The course combines instructor-led learning and video instruction with hands-on practice using CPR manikins and AED trainers. Successful certification requires attendance of entire course length, and all students must perform required skills without assistance.

- Recognizing cardiac arrest
- Chest compressions & rescue breaths

FIRST AID
- Bleeding control and wound care
- Injuries, burns, breaks, and sprains
