Public Course Cancellation Policy
Registrant Cancellations and Transfers
Registration fees for public enrollment courses are non-refundable, you may transfer your registration to another person within your company or you may apply it to another course scheduled within the next 12 months. Course transfers are not processed automatically. Notification of cancellation or transfer must be received via e-mail at least three full business days before the start of the course.
If you wish to withdraw from a course:
- A request must be submitted in writing using the Course Transfer Form. The request must be received at least three full business days before the start of a course;
- In the Course Transfer Form, you will be able to request a course transfer or substitution.
- Transfer request fees:
- First Aid Trainings: $15
- MSHA Safety Trainings: $50
- Instructor Trainings: $50
- Exam Prep Workshops: $75
- Return completed Course Transfer Form to email@example.com.
Participants will be responsible for any difference in tuition cost at the time of the request or in some cases a participant may receive a credit on file. Please contact us for more information.
Cancellation of Courses and Schedule Changes
The Health and Safety Training Center reserves the right to cancel scheduled public enrollment courses due to low enrollment and unforeseen circumstances up to one week in advance of the scheduled course. If a course is canceled, you will receive full reimbursement of the course fee or you may request a tuition transfer to another course within a 12 month period. Participants will be responsible for any difference in tuition cost at the time of the request or in some cases a participant may receive a credit on file. Please contact us for more information.
The Health and Safety Training Center is not responsible for any expenses incurred before the start of a program, e.g., airline tickets, hotel, or car rental. Please contact us prior to making any travel arrangements.
The Health and Safety Training Center reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy with no advance notice.

Onsite Course Cancellation Policy
The customer may for any reason cancel any portion of the training or services specified in their course confirmation email by notifying the Health and Safety Training Center in writing. When notification of such cancellation is received by HSTC at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the scheduled performance start date, there will be no penalties for the portions canceled except for necessary and reasonable administrative costs that have been incurred by HSTC. If advance notice as described herein is not given or cannot be provided for any reason, fees and charges applicable to the canceled service(s) are due and payable as follows:
